Personal Description:

Hello! I have been teaching since 2011 giving tuitions for English, Mathematics and Korean.I am a native Korean speaker from Seoul. Growing up in such a global and dynamic city as Seoul, I developed a passion for learning new languages and experiencing different cultures from a very young age on. I studied English language at university to be able to communicate with people from all around the world and to be able to teach English and I have been able to work as an English tutor to young Korean students during and after graduating university.

Since I wanted to improve my English by actually living in English speaking countries and also experience fully living in a new culture, interacting with new people, I moved to Ireland where I lived for a year before finally moving to London, the city I call home now.

In London, I basically continued my job as a language teacher, but this time I taught Korean, my native language to English students wanting to learn Korean. The interest in Korean language and culture keeps increasing these days so I really have been enjoying to teach the language of my heart to learners and also to share a bit of the culture and value of my country to others. I feel very privileged and thankful to see the students I teach improve from day to day, helping them to draw a step closer to their respective dreams.

Teaching Experience:

I also worked as a teacher of English and mathematics at schools in Korea specialising in extra curricular English and mathematics lessons. Please see below my chronological teaching experience:

Teaching Approach:

I specialize in grammar, pronunciation, conversation and reading for beginners, intermediate and advanced students. I use a combination of text books and also interactive learning methods via face to face(ZOOM) conversation and also various internet and tools and media. I always give homework to give a chance to students to review and make the contents on their own.
