Personal Description:

Hello, bonjour, ¡buenos días! I'm Charlotte. I have a PGCE in Secondary Modern Foreign Languages and I offer private lessons in French and Spanish. Whether you are studying towards an exam or learning for leisure, I would love to work with you.
For those of you at school, I have excellent knowledge of state school examinations (iGCSE, GCSE and A-Level) and how to prepare for them so that you achieve the grades you deserve.

I have a degree in French and I lived and worked in France for over a year. I recently received an A* for my Spanish A-Level (home learning) and I have spent a number of months in Spanish speaking countries. I am a passionate linguist and I believe language learning should be enjoyable, interesting, and interactive.

When I am not teaching or learning a language myself, I love to spend time outdoors, cook delicious food, knit, and read.

Teaching Approach:

All of my lessons are tailored specifically to the learner and their needs. They are very interactive and are designed to get the learner engaging with the language as much as possible - all while building confidence and being enjoyable! We will embrace mistakes as they are an essential part of the process, so there is no need to be nervous. Part of my teaching practice is to design a progression plan so that we make sure we are always working towards your language learning goals.
