Personal Description:
Hello, my name is Angel and I'm a native Spanish speaker from Argentina. I also lived for six years in Paris and am fluent in French. I have a masters level degree in Languages and Translation, a Bachelor of Science (hons) in Psychology from the Open University, and a Masters in English Literature from the Sorbonne University in Paris. I am a qualified teacher (Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training).
Teaching Experience:
I have 20 years experience in language teaching (Spanish, French and English) and have worked in a number of different schools and language institutes, from primary and secondary schools to corporate language training centres and universities.
I have worked in colleges in London, Leicestershire, and Devon. In London, I have worked in Newcastle University, Arden University, Birkbeck University, and DLD college.
I usually tutor students for AQA, Edexcel, OCR, CIE both in GCSEs and A levels. In addition, I offer support to those students doing languages at university who are finding it hard to organise their essays and dissertations in a foreign language.
Teaching Approach:
My main focus in language tutoring is on communication, but I also have experience in preparing students for official examinations, and business and academic needs. I always take the time to discuss your requirements with you to work out a programme that will best suit your needs and what you're interested in getting from your language classes.
For my classes, I provide all the material myself (photocopies, handouts, textbook) all included in the price per hour. For those students who are working on their GCSEs and A levels, I provide handouts and power-points which simplify the topics and teach you exams techniques to improve performance in final exams.

Ángel is really accommodating of my Dad’s busy schedule and is really flexible which makes such a difference. My Dad has said he really feels his Spanish has made massive improvements in only a few weeks! We hope to continue lessons with Ángel for many more weeks/ months to come.

He is vey methodical and organzas when structuring and planning his sessions which helps the student to maximise their learning. The material he provides is excellent .
