My name is Ana. I am Spanish by birth, I am a qualified teacher of Spanish as a foreign language and a speech/language therapist based in Prestwich, Manchester.
I am enthusiastic, dynamic and reliable. I transmit my passion for languages in every lesson.
I am committed to providing an individualised programme to every student, developing your skills through enjoyable and challenging activities.

Teaching Experience:
I have been working as individual language tutor since I obtained my university degree in 'Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language'. DELE Examiner.
In addition, I've worked as speech therapist with people with special needs (e.g. communication disorders, aphasia, autism… ) for the last ten years.
Teaching Approach:
Based on our initial discussion about your aims and personal learning style, we will embark on a journey together for you to become a competent speaker in the target language.
We will look constantly for positive and constructive feedback, evaluating your progress and aims along your learning process.
From day one we will speak in Spanish, and you will build your confidence in using the new language with activities according to your language level.
With activities and materials completely in Spanish, you will able not only to speak a new language but also to gain knowledge about Spain, its people, its customs and its culture.
Lessons are delivered through a mixture games, role play, reading, grammatical exercises, listening … Are you interested in films, music, literature… ? We will make use of them to learn the language.
