I'm a freelance LAMDA Tutor and Acting Coach. I have over a decade of experience as a working actor in the industry and as a tutor. To date, my students have a 100% LAMDA pass rate. Tuition is available in person and online.

I offer one to one tuition for LAMDA exams, audition preparation, acting technique, character development, diction, and projection, speaking in public, and general confidence. Group workshops are also available. I work with all ages from primary to adult learners.

I trained with the Year Out Drama Company and following that the Comeback Company, both in Stratford-upon-Avon. While there I benefited from the vocational design of the course, their strong focus on the ensemble, and their ties with the Royal Shakespeare Company.

I have a passion for acting in many forms; including classic and contemporary plays, musical theatre, film, TV, TIE and voiceover. I also enjoy writing my own material and directing for theatre and film.

I have appeared in theatre as Malcolm in 'Macbeth', Chubukov in 'The Proposal', Borachio in 'Much Ado About Nothing', John Hale in 'The Crucible', Joseph Freitas Jr. in 'Execution of Justice', Joe in 'Our House', David Bliss in 'Hay Fever', Frank in 'A Vampire Story', William Fields in 'Trinkets Lost', Camillo in 'The Winter's Tale', Odysseus in 'The Homecoming of Odysseus' and Chorus in Seamus Heaney's version of Antigone, The Burial at Thebes.

Teaching Experience:

I teach LAMDA and Acting regularly at such stage schools as Trapdoor Performing Arts, Westend In, Stagecoach, LAR Performing Arts, Theatretrain, PQA, Iconic Performing Arts, Little Voices, and Vision Theatre Arts. I have been offering private one to one LAMDA tuition since 2015. To date, my students have a 100% pass rate.

I hold an Enhanced DBS check which is on the Update Service. I am fully trained in First Aid, Safeguarding, and Health and Safety.

Teaching Approach:

I take real pride in seeing my students grow in skill and confidence and find it to be truly rewarding work. I firmly believe in an adaptive, personalized approach to teaching, carefully tailored to fit the students learning style and needs. Furthermore, my diligence, enthusiasm, keen attention to detail, and passion for stagecraft all ensure that my students receive the most comprehensive and attentive coaching possible. I maintain that by treating my students as professionals in training from day one and challenging them, I enable them to achieve much higher grades. I believe that this will encourage and inspire them to pursue careers in the performing arts, as well as best prepare them for the demands of the industry.
