Personal Description:
Plymouth born and bred, I began my obsession with Arts and Crafts at Primary school, and it has continued daily to this day - my current crochet project shares my lap with the iPad as I'm typing this!
I took O Level in Art (drawing and painting mediums) and Woodwork (there was no Textlies available then!), and A level in Art (painting and pottery mediums).
I knit, crochet, sew, alter clothing, make patchwork, explore 1/12th scale and paint.
I love being near the sea, vegan cooking, music performance and family.
Teaching Experience:
I spent 25 years as a classroom teacher with specialisms in Music and Special Education.
Since early retirement and time spent travelling, I teach practical music lessons and spend my time showing others how to create items.
Teaching Approach:
I am fully supportive of the individual's preferred way of learning.
