Information About Sue - Fareham teacher

Personal Description:

My name is Sue and I live in the Fareham area of Hampshire where I have worked firstly as a qualified teacher and subsequently running my own soft furnishing business. I have 18 years of teaching experince and creating hand finished curtains, Roman blinds and cushions. Being able to create soft firnishings for your own home is hugely satisfying and I love to teach others how to do just that!

Teaching Experience:

I am a qualified teacher (PGCE) and self taught soft furnishing tutor based on the experience of teaching others on a 1:1 basis or small groups. My tutor skills to cover : basic curtain making- lined and interlined, hand finished headings - pinch pleats, hand finished Roman blinds ( safety compliant ) and cushions - zipped and piped.

Teaching Approach:

Working together to succeed through step by step demonstration and patiently assisting students to meet their goal. I have step by step models for reference and provide notes and advice to take away.
