Personal Description:

I am an outgoing and friendly person. I'm an artist and my creative practice revolves around the relationship between free / open-source software and performance. I learned to play chess in my youth and always enjoyed solving puzzles and playing games. I started playing more in 2017, got some coaching and am now an advanced player.

Teaching Experience:

I got a first class honours degree from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. In 2023 I began studying for an Masters in Fine Art and Design. I attend a chess club on a weekly basis and play online. I have taught family and friends how to play chess and they have recommended to me that I start teaching.

Teaching Approach:

Classes will take place online. During our classes we will work on improving your strength as a chess player. This will involve a combination of techniques that will enhance your knowledge and understanding of the game. For example, you will learn to solve tactical puzzles, develop your openings and analyze your games. The focus of our classes will vary to reflect your weaknesses and strengths.
