Personal Description:
I have recently relocated to Perth from a small country school in Aberdeenshire. I am keen to share my knowledge and passion with school pupils and mature students who are looking to expand their skill sets. This can be anything from Woodworking, technical drawings, design, 3D modelling to Engineering Science or basic computer skills.
Teaching Experience:
I have been a Design and Technology teacher for 10 years. I have been fortunate enough to have experience teaching Graphic Communication, Woodwork, Design and Manufacture, and Engineering Science at various levels in a variety of schools. During this time I have also taught Computing and IT to fill vacancies.
I have experience teaching school aged pupils within mainstream education and also those with additional support needs.
I have worked with a Community Shed to help teach woodwork classes to a variety skilled adults.
Teaching Approach:
Each tutee will have a bespoke plan created to ensure we work towards their goal in a timely manner, ensuring confidence and success go hand in hand.
