Personal Description:
I am a professional Management Consultant working with my own practice and also a private Tutor in Accounting and Business studies. I am a Club player and promote chess for all ages. I do play for Harrow Chess Club in London and in other tournaments. Even though I work on a busy schedule chess has been part of my life as I have released and reaps the benefits of playing chess.
I captain the Harrow Team in Hillinigdon league and also Captain the Middlesex Team in the county championship
Teaching Experience:
I have been playing chess from 10 years old and in UK my chess coaching began 2010/2011. Where I used to coach my University of Surrey chess colleagues. I continued to coach kids and junior team players from 2012 till now at Harrow Chess Club. Kids age range from 5 to 16.
Currently I coach following schools Knightsbridge School,St James School, Gillespie primary school Islington and North Bridge House preparatory school.
I conduct chess coaching for corporate and adults during weekends and also for individual and group adults. I am also involved in promoting chess in London among corporate and communities.
I am interested in teaching chess for beginners and club players. I do also analyse games with club players and help in opening preparation for tournament players.
Teaching Approach:
Chess is been played by many kids around the world and in United Kingdom its growing rapidly. The benefits of chess is scientifically proven by many researches that people develop key skills such as problem solving, analysing, critical thinking, independence, decision making, concentration, logical thinking, calculation, memory and many more at a very young age.
Due to the growing demand I have been teaching groups of small young students and individual students. Parents Please do contact me if interested.
Club players and tournament players welcomed to contact if they are interested in opening study, endgame study and tactics training. I also provide post match analysis. We use the latest chess engine and synergy tables to analyse games.

Manoharan was fantastic. He created a relaxing atmosphere for the session and was very good at breaking down my topics in a way that allowed me to understand them with ease. He was quick to spot when I was struggling and would quickly change his approach which led to me grasping the topic very quickly. At times he could explain a calculation better in 30 seconds than my lecturer could achieve in 5 minutes. He was a great tutor and I would highly recommend him.
