Personal Description:
I am an outgoing and highly motivated person with a passion for my subject area which I enjoy passing on to people with a variety of needs and abilities. My excellent communication and interpersonal skills enable me to relate to a wide range of people and support them effectively in their learning and personal development. I have exceptional organisational, time and self-management skills demonstrated within pressured, deadline-driven roles. Used to working to exacting quality standards, I am able to use my initiative and keep calm under pressure. I am now looking to gain further teaching experience to utilise my focus and commitment and develop my talents.
Teaching Experience:
My most recent teaching experience was on placement at Forth Valley College, where I taught Art and Design at all levels. I have delivered workshops at Reach Out where I worked with a variety people with learning difficulties and mental or physical ill health. I am a very compassionate teacher.
Teaching Approach:
I have a very holistic approach towards my teaching and I am extremely patient with my students. I feel it is important to encourage and support my students and build them in confidence of their own abilities. I believe in equality and provide a calm enjoyable atmosphere for my students.
