Personal Description:
Qualified and experienced teacher in all aspects of Drama for all ages and abilities. Preparation for Lamda examinations and auditions. Acting, Verse & Prose, Public Speaking, Voicework. Audition preparation and techniques. Workshops in building character, theatre practitioners and drama school auditions. I have examined for Lamda for many years and am a Speech & Drama adjudicator. I have also published 8 acting books on Shakespeare, Chekhov & Oscar Wilde, available from Amazon. I teach from my private, spacious home studio or offer tuition online via Skype or Zoom.
Teaching Experience:
35 years + experience in a wide range of educational establishments offering tuition individually, small groups and larger groups. Former Head of Drama at Royal High School, Bath. Currently teaches at Badminton School, Bristol and Red Maids School, Bristol. Lamda Examiner. Speech & Drama Adjudicator. Published author. CRB checked.
Teaching Approach:
Tuition is tailored to the age, ability and needs of the individual using a variety of educational materials, examination syllabi and inspiring literature, poetry and drama. Teaching is based at home studio which is a large, comfortable space with parking facility.
