Personal Description:
I am an enthusiastic and dynamic individual and am passionate about all aspects of performance. As well as going to the theatre I enjoy singing and going to festivals.
Teaching Experience:
In 2000, I formed "Stand and Deliver" drama schools for students between 5 and 16. I now run 2 extremely successful Youth Theatres in Downend. I have taught Speech and Drama at a number of major schools in Bristol and the South-west including Bristol Grammar School, Taunton Preparatory School, Red Maids School, Redland High School and Clifton College.
I formed MJM Associates a boutique theatrical agency in Bristol and London, and a number of my students appeared in **Contact Detail Removed**vision and theatre shows including "Skins", E4, "Larkrise to Candleford", BBC1, "Mistresses", BBC1, "Billy Elliot", London West End.
Teaching Approach:
Teaching Drama is not a job but is a passion for me - I believe every student has a unique voice and that is my philosophy when teaching. My lessons are fully inclusive. My dynamism and passion is infectious and promotes excellent learning. My aim is to ensure that students have the same passion as I do, by fully involving them in all aspects of my sessions.
Every student has different requirements so I provide a learning programme unique to them.
I tutor in all aspects of drama, performance and voice including, Drama School Audition Preparation, Public Speaking training, LAMDA and Trinity Performance Examinations, English Speaking Board, Festival work, Voice training and development.
