Personal Description:
I am a teacher and examiner of drama and voice, holding degrees and diplomas in all aspects of Speech and Drama.
I am also a writer. I hold a Masters' Degree in Creative Writing - awarded with Honours - and have been a published short story writer for over 20 years. I have written numerous short stories for women's magazine and two novels under the name Jude Hayland. My third novel is to be published early next year.
Teaching Experience:
I have taught all aspects of drama - from workshops, voice classes, audition preparation, examination work, presentation skills, expressive drama, verse speaking - to a wide range of ages and ability levels for many years.
I have taught Creative Writing classes to students and adults of varying levels and interests.
In addition to teaching privately at my own home, I am also available to run and conduct workshops and lecture on aspects of creative writing and drama.
Teaching Approach:
My approach is always friendly, informal yet structured. I run group creative writing sessions as well as one to one drama and voice classes and one to one creative writing sessions. I also teach children in pairs and prepare students for drama school auditions. I have a flexible approach according to the needs and demands of my students.

Jude's tutoring had a positive knock on effect to his other Humanity based subjects too; helping with the construction of essays in Geography and History.
