Information About Jonathan - Muswell Hill teacher

Personal Description:

I'm an actor and director with 25 years experience. I have worked at the National Theatre, Shakespeare's Globe, Stratford and in the West End. I have written 5 plays and run my own theatre company for 12 years.

I am also an extremely experienced improviser and comedian.

Teaching Experience:

I have taught at Drama Studio London, East 15 as well as running workshops at RADA and Central School. I have been coaching actors for auditions for over a decade.

Teaching Approach:

I like to be flexible and creative - to see what the individual student needs and try to meet those requirements. My approach can be text based or improvisational, studious or carefree depending on this. Although I have studied Meisner and Stanislavski, I am not beholden to them - I regard their words as advice rather than instruction.
