Personal Description:
I am currently studying MFA Acting at Juilliard (New York). I previously trained in acting and directing at the University of Cambridge, the National Youth Theatre, and the Royal Exchange Theatre (Manchester).
I have a huge amount of theatre experience, having performed in many theatres in the UK and internationally. I have also done screen work more recently and just finished training with ‘The Unseen’ school in London.
At University, I was one of 7 graduating actresses to be selected to perform in the ‘Marlowe Showcase’, which was directed by former RADA principal, Nicholas Barter.

ACTORS’ REP; Cambridge University Amateur Dramatics Club; University of Cambridge, 2018-2019
• Establishing and facilitating ‘Skillshare workshops’, a programme enabling students to run/join training sessions.
• Providing support and advice to actors at the university, informing them of upcoming auditions/opportunities.
WORKSHOP OFFICER; Marlowe Society; University of Cambridge, 2018-2019
• Arranging workshops/masterclasses with theatre companies, directors, writers, and industry professionals.
• Helping the committee with wider decisions (i.e. finding funding, selecting shows, arranging events).

• Contacting theatre companies to arrange drama workshops for students.
• Selecting shows for upcoming seasons and assisting the production teams during rehearsals/performances.

JessicaFrom Gary (5/5): My son has had two lessons so far with Jess, helping him with his GCSE English. She seems to be an excellent tutor.
From Sal (/5): We had a small booster course with Jessica to brush-up on comprehension for 11plus. My son found lessons very helpful and learnt the technique on how to approach questions.
My son will continue his lessons and will also sign up for mentoring sessions with Jessica in the near future. I think, Jessica has a very unique academic journey and can offer a wealth of experience on how to navigate the system, both in the UK and US. I am also very keen for my son to take some lessons in preparation for the LAMDA exams. The versatility is endless. I would definitely recommend Jessica to my friends.

She has been a super hard working tutor who gives much extra and useful work to my daughter to both boost her confidence and to prompt a stronger interest on the subject. From Nina (/5): Jess has been a great tutor for my 6 year old son. His reading and creative writing skills were a little behind as a result of various lockdowns and Jess has helped to boost his confidence and hone his skills in some key areas. I’ve been really impressed with how structured and organised his zoom lessons with her have been. She also sets him weekly homework exercises if he has any spare time in the week. Jess treats Ben like a grown up and she isn’t afraid to push him slightly out of his comfort zone at times. As a result he has progressed in leaps and bounds (I’ve been astonished to see the advanced texts he’s now able to read with ease). Reading comprehension and creative writing are already becoming second nature to him and before he really struggled.

My girls are shy but Jess was very friendly and they quickly settled with her. They enjoy their weekly lessons/homework and are making good progress.
