Personal Description:

I will teach these subjects at my home and online. Experienced teacher of ACTING, SPEECH, VOICE, PUBLIC SPEAKING, ELOCUTION, LAMDA EXAMS & TEACHING DIPLOMAS. I am a highly experienced professional actor who has much experience in teaching all areas of performance. I trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama - University of London, and hold a Masters Degree in teaching voice, speech and performance, and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Voice Studies. I also have an Acting Diploma from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) and a PGCE with qualified teacher status in Drama. I also hold the Licentiate Diploma LLCM(TD) from the University of West London in Speech and Drama Teaching. I am a specialist in voice work (all areas of working with the spoken word - elocution, developing voice quality, performance voice, public speaking and voice for the actor) - just let me know what you need I'd I'll chat about the ways we can approach this. Teaching Experience:

I have approximately 20 years experience in teaching. Over this time I have worked with every age group and every level of student ability and all my students have been successful. I have even successfully taught students to become speech and drama teachers and gain their speech and drama teaching diplomas. I have taught in many of the leading drama schools including the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, East 15 Acting School and Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. I have massive experience in successfully working with students towards graded examinations in Speech and Drama and Acting with LAMDA, VCM and LCM and am the Senior Examiner in Speech and Drama for the Victoria College of Music and Drama, London.

Teaching Approach:

Each student is different and because of this each lesson is created specifically for the individual and their needs. This is the best way of working and always achieves the best results. I think that having fun whilst learning is essential and my lessons always have this and laughter built into developing the crucial technical demands which are required for the craft of acting, voice, speech and public speaking. As a specialist teacher I use the work of leading practitioners to help each student develop to the best possible level, and once these techniques have been mastered they will always be there for the student to draw upon in their performances. All students are welcome to work towards examinations with the leading examination boards if desired.
