Personal Description:

I have currently graduated ArtsEd with a BA Acting degree. I have auditioned for a wide range of respected industry experts and am currently auditioning for all fields; Screen/TV and Theatre. I want to provide my students with lessons that are fun but appropriately challenging with the knowledge of a recent graduate. As an active professional actor in the industry I would like to prepare my students with the most up to date audition preparation for drama schools and/or other projects. My goal is to make my students feel the most confident and prepared walking into an audition room.

Teaching Experience:

I have almost 2 years of teaching experience with beginner actors and have aided my students to audition for a wide variety of casting directors, directors and Drama schools.

If it is difficult for you to travel I also offer online lessons at a lower rate of £25 an hour.

If you are an active actor auditioning with selftapes, I offer help and guidance with at a rate of £20 an hour.

Teaching Approach:

Even if you are not auditioning for drama school, I am also teaching beginner actors with skills and techniques inspired by practitioners and industry professionals I have worked with.

What we will work on:

- Text Analysis: It is important to focus on the facts in order to ground yourself in the language of the text. We will dissect your choice of work and make sure you have a clear understanding of the circumstance of your character.

- Vocal work: Being at ease with your natural voice and being able to project with articulation is key to owning the space.

- Physical embodiment: Loosening any tension in your body is crucial to be able to move with freedom. We will do stretches and warm ups to relax your body.

- Redirection: It is common to get notes during an audition and being able to adjust to them is key in order to land a role or a place. We will work on improvisation to give you an understanding of how to play in an audition room.

All my techniques are inspired by practitioners: Hagen, Chekov, Stanislavski and Misner.
