Information About Henry - Maidstone teacher

Personal Description:

I'm a recent Masters graduate and performance artist who has a wealth of experience in devising theater, physical comedy, directing, and many forms of acting. Having performed at several arts festivals in London, and presented my work on-behalf of Kingston and Winchester universities i now work between projects as a freelance drama practioner. Helping others hone their skills either in acting or devising contemporary theater.

Teaching Experience:

Having taught many of the basic principles of acting to university undergrads during my M.A, i have experience facilitating and leading workshops to both children and young adults. As part of my on-going practice i am a regular teacher of physical comedy, running these workshops in the local community. Furthermore i also offer support and advice to students studying the theoretical side to drama, often assisting with written projects or research proposals.

Teaching Approach:

Depending on the client brief and level of tuition, i structure my workshops around improvisations, role-play, and simple games which build complicity between performers. Theoretical elements are usually discussed before or after the session, with each student receiving an aims and objective work-plan.
