Information About Gordon - Windsor teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Gordon:
I am a professional practicing visual artist with 40 years’ experience working out of a studio in Windsor, Berkshire. I have an international reputation for murals (particularly architectural trompe l'oeil), bookplate design, and am a commissioned artist for portraiture.
Besides which I have been teaching and running student workshops since 2010.
I am prepared to do online tutoring. I can set up in my studio to provide practical material support with examples and techniques.
I have been delivering drawing and painting workshops in secondary schools on and off since 2011, including some terms as a Non Qualified Status art teacher.
Since January 2019 I have been a regular tutor at Queensgate Studios, in Kensington. A private art school where clients range in age from 10 to 95, and experience from beginner to professional arts practioners.
I am an occasional guest artist with Artspiration (my group of 2018 won that year’s David Shepherd Award).
From January 2018 on, I have been running a sip and paint group called ArtVine (both online and in venues) aimed at beginner hobbyist painters.
Since early 2019 I now provide 1 to 1 online tutoring.
I bring traditional atelier studio skills (drawing and painting) tailored to the individual student’s requirement and speed.
Whether I am taking a beginner through the basics of painting, or helping someone more advanced move further forward, my aim is always to help their personal development, at their own personal rate of progression, whilst keeping it rewarding and satisfying.
I am able to do remote teaching online as well.
