Personal Description:

Hello. I am a writer and director with 10 years of experience writing high quality plays with both young people and adults from a wide spectrum of talents, abilities and additional needs. I have a demonstrated history of empowering others through the arts and I am skilled in creative writing, directing and workshop delivery.

Teaching Experience:

I have worked in a wide variety of settings specialising in creative writing and workshop delivery. From schools and youth groups to theatre companies and one-to-one clients. I can provide sessions in: creative writing (in groups or one-to-one), playwriting, audition preperation, acting and directing. I can also run tutoring sessions in English Literature and Drama and have an active working knowledge of the current curriculum.

Teaching Approach:

I firmly believe in an inclusive approach to teaching the arts. Exellence and accesibility are not mutually exclusive and no two clients are the same. Whether you're an absolute beginner or an industry professional wanting new input and tutoring, I know that the arts can empower and mobilise anybody. It's my job to meet the needs of each client and find the best approach that works for them. I will always be open to hearing what works for you.
