Personal Description:
Former India Chess Champion, I have played hundreds of national and international chess tournaments. My peak FIDE rating has been 2170. I have been teaching chess from past 8 years in various schools and clubs in London. I love teaching chess and run a chess coaching company named anuchess ltd.
I am also a published travel writer and write about my solo travelling experiences all over the world. My passion is to teach chess to underprivileged girls and India and empower them through this beautiful game. My trust is called jiyobeti.

Teaching Approach:
I start at the age of 4 (kids these days are capable of checkmating at 4!), where I teach the moves of pieces and looking at the whole board. For intermediates there are tactics and puzzle solving exercises designed to ones needs. I provide study material to all our students and encourage them to participate in tournaments. For advance players my focus is on combinative skills and technical endgames.
