I am the wrong side of 50 going on 18 - still don't know what I want to be when I grow up and always have many writing and perfoming projects in the pipeline.
Gained my degree in English and Drama as a Mature student, have vast acting and performing experience.
Research, write and deliver historical educational packages at my local heritage park
Research, write and perform one woman shows on various literary and historical women.
Have a passion for writing, performing, history and regularly take part in pub quizzes.
I am an experienced storyteller having performed in schools, libraries, National Trust and Cadw properties as well as for local groups and history societies.
Have taught drama at all levels including workshops for my local Theatr Clwyd.
Have taught literature, creative writing and drama for community education: Drome project, Bangor University continued learning, WEA.
Taught A level literature at local FE colleges and year nought leading into Chester uniersity college.
My approach to teaching at all levels is very inclusive - I have a passion for passing on my love of my subject to others an.d have been told that that passion is contagious.
Students and their needsmatter to me and I love people and their stories and what they have to offer me as well as what I can impart to them.
As a performer my approach to teaching is very outgoing and encouraging
When I first began teaching adult education I could not believe I was being paid for what I love.
