Personal Description:
I am currently studying for Further Education in Performing Arts; continually building on my knowledge of my subject within both an academic and performance aspect.
I am an outgoing, friendly tutor with extensive teaching and performance experience. I have performed in a number of productions including 'Fame!' as 'Goody' at the Manchester Opera House, 2011. Through my performing experience I can offer an abundance of 'first hand' experience; but also feel that learning the theory, history and technique behind acting can make the difference not only in a students understanding, but standards.
Teaching Experience:
'Tinies' Performing Arts Teacher - 'Footlights Theatre School', Bolton - 2011 - Current
Instrumental & Arts Teacher - Dallam School
Private Music & Acting Teacher
Teaching Approach:
The study of acting is essentially the study of self-expression; confidence building exercises, encouragement and patience are key to my teaching method. I will combine acting exercises and games, vocal training, monologue/dialogue technique, physical acting and theory within my lessons to create a deep and thorough understanding of the subject; of course working to suit the needs of the student and any areas they may need extra help with.

Job which reduced my weekend slots and a booked holiday. Whilst I understand your disappointment, I feel that comments regarding my punctuality and professionalism are unfounded as I only had a few lessons to display my teaching ability before you went on holiday yourself.
All the best for the future and good to Hussein in his studies,
Amy
