Information About Amber - Aberdeen teacher

Personal Description:

I am a professional Animator and Graphic Designer with a wide range of technical expertise.
I have 10 years in Graphic and Digital/Web Design (HTML, CSS, Photoshop, etc), and 4 years in Flash Animation.
Excellent drawing and computer skills are a necessary factor in a successful career in the arts, as such I am able share my wealth of knowledge to whatever degree you require for what ever purpose you desire.

Teaching Experience:

I have tutored students in the past as a hobby watching them grow in to excellent artists/writers and develop their own styles and techniques eventually teaching me a few of their tricks of the trade.

Teaching Approach:

I use a combination of demonstration and hands on approach, since art is a visual process, I explain very briefly the theories and reasoning behind learning certain techniques (though I can ellaborate if required). I work based on the students needs and goals, starting out with easy how-tos while implementing the fundamentals into the lesson structure as the student gains confidence.
