I found Lizzy through First Tutors to help Lizza (my adopted granddaughter) with her year 12 grades which she was struggling with in several subjects. Not being familiar with the process and, in my case being overseas, arranging for someone at a distance should have been really quite challenging. It wasn’t. Perhaps fortune favoured us but in LIzzy we have found the ideal match. Lizzy’s approach to tuition was not simply about getting the books out but to look at the whole person in Lizza, her situation, her attitude, her person, her needs - an holistic appraisal. From that she devised a plan of action which she emailed for agreement. Of course the real proof in the services must come from Lizza and she has responded to Lizzy in a very positive way. Already she is more confident, has rekindled the desire for school work and looking eagerly for the results. That after two weeks is very satisfying. Lizzy has already shown me that her reward is in seeing Lizza grow and realise her potential. In that short time I too have moved from being at a loss of what to do for Lizza, to one of optimism.
