Personal Description:

I am a professional and a mother who loves making an impact in young peoples' lives. I am a firm believer that everyone has the potential to succeed, all that is needed is understanding and commitment.
I am a vet doctor by profession. I have been a private tutor for four years and love helping others to grow and shine. I am passionate about young people believing in themselves and their abilities and strive to not only teach but motivate.

Tutoring Experience:

In 2017 I started private tutoring and am blessed to say about 90% of the children I have tutored improved in their subject matters, maths and English.

In the five years I have tutored, the majority of my students have excelled. I encourage hardwork and active participation and those who put in the required effort do outstandingly well.

I teach subjects from grade 1 to grade 10. In life sciences and Maths lit, I teach up to grade 12.
Life science forms the basis of my profession and to me the subject is exciting to learn, understand and teach.

I not only tutor, I motivate to bring out the best in the children. A motivated mind wants to succeed and that makes a huge difference in most childrens' performance.

Tutoring Approach:

I strive to get to know the areas that need improvement in a subject matter and concentrate on getting the child to understand the concepts of that area. Understanding brings knowledge and builds confidence.
I strongly believe that its a lack of understanding that brings failure, so I tend to concentrate the greatest effort to help children gain a better understanding of the subject matter.

I also try to motivate and take away feelings of inadequency and low esteem. I try to build up self confidence and pride in self achievement in each child.
