I am a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor currently in my fourth year at McMaster University, specializing in Sociology. With over a year of experience teaching math and English at Kumon Math and Reading Centre, I have worked with students aged 3 to 17, both in-person and online. My teaching experience at Kumon includes delivering individualized instruction, guiding students through step-by-step exercises, and supporting their learning using digital tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, and online whiteboards.
I am passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. My approach is student-centered, focusing on each learner’s unique needs and learning style. I believe in creating a positive, supportive environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and take ownership of their learning.
In addition to my teaching experience, I am highly organized, reliable, and adaptable. I am comfortable working flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate students across different time zones.
