Personal Description:

Although I didn’t know it at the time, since the day I first taught my sister, seven years my junior, how to read Dr Zeus I’ve been a teacher. I helped fellow students in high school, then taught skiing in Switzerland and coached ski racers at Blue Mountain.
When my business career began it was in the retail skills development field of training and coaching. Then when I moved to Taiwan to begin my family, I became a teacher to children in the neighbourhood, taught at a couple schools and taught/mentored a university professor and HR practitioner.
Now living in Collingwood, I am looking to teach and help others to grow!

Tutoring Experience:

I have assisted a wide variety of students from corporate presidents to individual students of all ages. One-on-one English teaching is done either face to face or via Skype. For 15 years I taught students of all ages Math, Science and English skills including phonics and pronunciation with many students studying with me for several years at a time.
For 10 years I delivered programs to satisfy retailer and consumer needs through customized training programs, management and coaching skills to instil management, sales and service competencies to provide profitable results in the retail and service industries.
These programs included; Selling Skills Development and Coaching.

Tutoring Approach:

I teach to the needs of the student. After our first class/meeting I will be able to choose study materials that will help you learn what you want, with topics that are of interest to you. Because when learning is interesting and fun it is more effective and my years of experience ensure that YOU WILL LEARN and improve in the most enjoyable way possible. I'm expensive but well worth it and I do only teach through tutoring because one on one is the most effective way to teach and learn which is rewarding for you AND me when I see you improve!
