Personal Description:

I specialize in ancient literature (especially Greek tragedy) and social history, in particular with regards to gender and representation of women in the ancient world. I would be happy to help you learn more about Ancient Greek and/or Roman cultures through their languages.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been tutoring Latin and Ancient Greek languages at a university level for more than four years.

Tutoring Approach:

In addition to my love for Ancient Greek and Latin languages, I am also passionate about education. I have additional qualifications in university teaching as well as in language teaching (Western Certificate in University Teaching and Learning; TESOL Canada). I focus on communicative approach and offer a variety of differently aimed tasks, some designed to perfect technicalities (such as grammar and composition exercises), others to increase fluency (such as speed-reading where the main goal is to understand the main idea of a paragraph).
