Personal Description:

I am a big fan of math. It seems to come naturally to me. Since there are many who struggle in this subject, I feel it is my responsibility to instruct others and ease them through their courses.

Tutoring Experience:

I have done much in-person tutoring in math, mostly for High School students. I took Education in University, majoring in math.

Tutoring Approach:

As a tutor, I know that empathy is of utmost importance. I have to see things from the students' perspectives and that helps me to know how to best meet their needs.

I often guide students through a step-by-step approach to solving problems and make sure that they write specific instructions down so they can understand the process.

As parents play a major role in a student's education, I know it is important to work with them and report their child's progress. I also need to hear any suggestions from them about how to modify my style of tutoring.
