Personal Description:

I spent time in South America and am bilingual speaking both Spanish and English fluently. It is the combination of my personal, academic, and career experience that makes me an exceptional Spanish tutor. In addition to tutoring students of all ages and at all levels of Spanish, I also tutor related subjects such as AP Spanish Literature and Culture and conversational Spanish.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my undergraduate degree in political science and history and my graduate degree in bilingual education. After earning my teaching certification I became an elementary school teacher , and I have taught for the past ten years. I've also worked as an academic specialist and instructional coach, which has given me a greater understanding of instructional methodology and curriculum. I am currently pursuing principal certification.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that the only way for a student to truly understand a concept is if the teacher finds a way to make the student an integral part of the learning process.
