Personal Description:

I am someone who takes her work to heart and has the desire to make a different in the academic achievement of students. I obtained my International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program as well as my high school diploma while attending École secondaire Marie-Clarac. While being in this program I’ve learned to be open-minded and to exercise rigour in everything I do. I am now studying at the University of Montréal where I’m doing my bachelor’s degree in teaching French as a second language. I am punctual and careful in the commitments that I undertake.

Tutoring Experience:

When it comes to my experience with kids, I have about three of experience in tutoring. I started by giving priva**Contact Detail Removed**ssons to a secondary four student who had difficulties in mathematics and in french. We’ve also worked together during a full summer in order for her to be prepared for her secondary five. In addition, I also worked with a team of tutors from a tutoring center in Montréal. Since april 2019, i finished University. I am now working in a french teacher. I continue to give priva**Contact Detail Removed**ssons to elementary and high school kids.

Tutoring Approach:

To help my students, I started to review with them the subjects that are more problematic because the goal of tutoring is to become better in the subjects that cause problems. I promote exercises as well as stimulation tests. I also appreciate when my students are able to make links with things that are familiar to them in order for them to learn faster. To encourage their improvement, I would like to have an adapted approach to the person that is receiving my services. With the current situation with the pandemic, i adapted all of my lessons so that the classes can be online. As a trained teacher, i developped new strategies to work online with my students.
