I am an native Japanese speaking tutor, who lives in London Ontario with my Japanese-English bilingual teenage daughter and my husband. I am offering online Japanese tutoring in London On. I was tutoring several Canadian students before, and I start to tutor again. Some of my former students went to Japan and stay as English teacher. One student is now university student in Japan. I sometime plan lunch gathering in London Ontario, with my Canadian students and Japanese students, and all of my students enjoy the gathering and make new friends. Japanese Language Tutoring
I was tutoring Japanese several Canadians every Wednesday and Thursday at local library as one-on-one bases. I was using textbooks such as Japanese for busy people and Genki. I was also helping them to prepare Japanese Language Proficiency Test N5 N4 N3 N2.

September 1995 - March 2005, September 2012 - June 2014

I was teaching Japanese school with main curriculum in Japanese, by using Japanese textbooks used in Elementary and Junior High Schools from Japan. The subjects included Japanese language, arithmetic, science, society, and Japanese culture.

Tutoring Approach:

I tutor Canadians with Skype as one-on-one or group. I prepare teaching materials by using PowerPoint, and word. I convert PowerPoint presentation to PDF document, so that my students can print out PDF for each lesson. I discuss with my students and find out what is the student’s needs. I tutor conversation, reading and writing, vocabulary, grammar. I discuss topics about Japanese culture and current issues with students. I use textbooks such as Japanese for busy people, Genki, and so on. I also help them to prepare Japanese Language Proficiency Test.
