Personal Description:

I am a second year engineering student studying at the University of Saskatchewan. I love teaching others because I feel like I am giving back to the world. In university I still get tutored privately from others in subjects I find difficult. I think that this is a reason why I am a very successful tutor because I understand how the tutee feels.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been running a private home for the past 3 years, tutoring math for students in grade 1-12.

Tutoring Approach:

I used to struggle in math as a child so I understand the frustration that some students have. This helps me teach more effectively because I know how my students are feeling. Rather than teaching my student how to solve the question, I focus on the concept. With a strong concept a student is able to solve very difficult questions correctly. I try to teach at a pace which the tutee is able to fallow along and is productive at the same time.
