Hello,
I am here to help tutor you in math, science, or general study skills. My background in these fields extends to university, and I am very knowledgeable about how to get good grades in high school. I found a lot of success in studying to understand, so I hope that I will be able to help you in establishing this mindset also, for it is very helpful not only in school, but also in other aspects of life. I am a very relaxed teacher and I think that learning should always be done in a stress-free setting for optimal results.

Tutoring Experience:

I have tutored for upwards of four years now. I have advanced tutoring certification from the Licence to Learn (L2L) tutoring organization. Through all these years of teaching, I have become familiar with the standard high school curriculum and I generally know what topics come as more confusing for students to understand.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to teaching is to teach the student how to actually learn. A big problem many students have in studying for math or science is that they simply aren't studying the right way. My tutoring approach will focus on helping to build strong studying skills so that the student will not only be successful in their concurrent courses, but they will also be set up for success in the future.
