Personal Description:

I am a chemistry tutor and can work with all age groups. Since elementary school, I've had a tendency to clarify concepts in class when other students found them to be unclear. I appreciate individual, personalized approaches to learning and find excitement in helping others find their love of education.

Tutoring Experience:

I have tutored professionally since January 2016. Having always been asked to lead study groups, I've worked with peers and younger children. I am an undergraduate pursuing a major in physics. In a one-on-one environment, I can help you study at your pace and find unique angles to cover more challenging topics.

Tutoring Approach:

From my experience, students I work with want to learn but tend to lose confidence when the subject gets hard. It is important to stop and let them breathe when feeling discouraged. Then I go back to where they were beginning to have trouble in the subject and start off again from there.
