Personal Description:

My name is Steffen, I am 15 years old (grade 10) and I want to tutor you! I have a 92% average and I am taking 6 AP courses. I am on the High Honours list at my school (90%+) and I have a passion for learning. I am strongest in teaching math, french, performing arts (music) and algebra. I can't wait to get started!

Tutoring Experience:

I like to work with younger kids as I have experience with them already. I volunteered at an elementary school as a Teacher's Assistant. I got to work with kids from ages 6-11 and I enjoyed it!

Tutoring Approach:

For the first lesson, I will find the students weaknesses and strengths. We will work on weeknesses as we prepare for upcoming assignments and tests from school. I will help students work on their weaknesses by finding what it is that they do not understand, then I will teach them the concept carefully and give them exercises to see if they can execute the process correctly. As I am in high school, I can relate to kids a lot and I already have experience as I volunteered at an elementary school. I am excited to get started!
