Personal Description:

Hello, my name is Sid. I am a 5th-year Business student at the University. I have been on the Dean's Honor Roll and Department of Economics and Finance Chair's Honors List every semester of study with 85+ averages across all courses I have taken so far. I am also a TA at Guelph for 3 business courses.

Tutoring Experience:

I am highly passionate about teaching, have tutored 100+ students in several business courses in the past 3 years at the University and am known as the “tutor guy” around Lang. I have worked with all kinds of students with different goals in mind, different learning abilities and have received amazing feedback (tons of testimonials available) with over 30 of them going on to get A+ scores in the taught courses (results of students who committed to regular bi-weekly classes)

Tutoring Approach:

My top priority ALWAYS is to make sure that my students grasp the core content of the course rather than memorizing stuff. I strive to help you develop a strong foundation of the material which will help you not only in your current class but in your future courses as well.

Having been tutoring for a few years now, I have taught students of all abilities, from students struggling to get from a C to a B, to go-getters trying to move an A- up to an A, to struggling students just hoping to pass. In that time, I have gained a lot of experience learning how to explain the material in a way that will actually make sense to YOU. I have developed a keen conscientiousness and an ability to quickly pick up the way you understand the best and communicate with you according to your unique needs.
