Personal Description:
I am a full-time Software Engineer. I've completed my Masters in Computer Science at the University of Waterloo with Highest Honours. I am proficient teaching Computer Science, Mathematics and English. I have conducted tutorial classes and lab hours (for close to 2 years) for undergrad students at the University, so I understand what the job demands. I understand what the students' requirements are, and come up with the simplest ways to help them understand the material.
Tutoring Experience:
Teaching Assistant for 1st-year Computer Science course (2 terms)
Instructional Apprentice for 1st-year Computer Science course (3 terms)
Tutoring Approach:
My approach depends on what the students' goal is. If they want to do well in a school course, I will design my classes to comprehensively explain all concepts in the syllabus, as well as test the student from time to time. For someone interested in a subject, I will start off teaching the basics, and then provide more hands-on experience through building simple projects. This works really well because it gives the person confidence in their ability. Mostly, I aid students with homework, however, I am sensitive to students needs/learning styles.

Shreesha's knowledge, reliability, flexibility and communication skills were outstanding.
He was also very prompt in responding to my inquiries.
Shreesha has a very polite manner which made my son feel comfortable from the outset.
After explaining our needs, he was able to quickly understand what was needed to improve my son's grades.
He was always prepared for each session and asked clarifying questions so that my son was able to think about what he was doing especially when he was on the wrong track. This focused approach improved my son's confidence resulting in a 10% increase in his grade in a very short time.
Due to our busy life, on some occasions we had cause to change our appointment and Shreesha was very accommodating and flexible.
