Personal Description:

Everyone is capable of learning when they have an educator who is passionate, committed, and willing to take the time and effort to tailor their teaching to each student's specific learning needs. I am that educator. I would like to assist students to fill any education gaps they may have and help them walk through doors that have previously been closed to them. As a learning disabilities tutor, I can assist with things like phonics, phonemic awareness, as well as employ metacognitive strategies to aid student comprehension.

Tutoring Experience:

I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education before going on to graduate school, where I completed a master's degree with a specialization in Educational/School Leadership. In addition to this, I have 20 years of experience working in education. I have taught a wide range of students and subjects and my passion is working with teachers and at-risk students. As a learning disabilities tutor, I am fully equipped to help students overcome their unique learning challenges and provide them with the academic assistance they need to excel.
