Personal Description:

I can provide personalized and effective instruction to students of many ages and ability levels. I can work as a biology tutor for skills topics ranging from life sciences to marine biology. I have had a number of valuable experiences as an educator, and I can incorporate ideas and techniques from those situations into my work as a biology tutor. The more I discover about education, the more I want to help others learn.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned a bachelor's degree in Neuroscience. I am licensed to teach Biological Sciences. I have over three years of experience teaching high school. I also worked at a field trip destination as an informal educator.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that inquiry-based teaching is a wonderful way for students to not simply recite information, but to learn in a holistic way that incorporates their interests and learning style. As students develop their curiosity, they can become lifelong learners.
