Personal Description:

I am a keen educator and a passionate college student. As I continue my education at the university level, I find myself transferring my enthusiasm to my own students. I like to use real-world examples that a student can easily relate to when explaining mathematical theories. I also spent several years as a volunteer hockey coach in my local community during my high school years.

Tutoring Experience:

I am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science. I have helped numerous students with their studies as a math tutor. My time working as a hockey coach helped me develop my leadership, communication, and educational skills.

Tutoring Approach:

Mathematics can be quite complicated for many of my students, and this is why I like to break complex information into smaller building blocks whenever possible. By tackling these smaller "bite-sized" concepts one by one, I can help my students regain confidence in their abilities as they build a strong foundation for future learning.
