Personal Description:

Hello/Bonjour! I am a second year undergraduate student at the University of British Columbia and I am hoping to major in International Relations. I am absolutely passionate about learning new languages, and would love to spread my knowledge, passion and enthusiasm to others on this site. I can speak English, French, and Punjabi, and I have been exposed to these languages starting very early on in my childhood. I completed a short French immersion program in high school and received my Delf certification last year at the B1 level which makes me a qualified candidate for tutoring French as a second language (FSL) at the elementary and secondary school levels. Tutoring Approach:

I take a very visual approach to tutoring by explaining and demonstrating my knowledge in order to make the lesson more engaging. I would also adapt to your learning style and accommodate any special requests so that the lessons can be as helpful and valuable as possible. Another very important aspect relating to the French language that I would focus on is the French culture and traditions. Most people find that the language is boring to learn and do not enjoy it at all, but what they do not experience first hand, like I have, is being completely immersed in the French culture. Combining this with more traditional grammatical concepts will hopefully create a fun and informational atmosphere which I believe we will both enjoy!
