Personal Description:

I am a motivated and hardworking Aerospace Engineering graduate. I am passionate about learning and discovering new things through interaction with people. I enjoy having informative conversations and have a strong background in Maths, English and Science-based courses.

Tutoring Experience:

I taught at an elementary school while volunteering in Nigeria a few years ago, through the Red Cross Society. I enjoyed getting to know the kids and passing my knowledge onto them through fun activities and interesting methods! During my university days, I held informal tutoring sessions for engineering students in lower years that I knew personally and they invited more friends and I saw the class size grow quite significantly.

Tutoring Approach:

I enjoy breaking down difficult concepts using day-to-day examples, analogies and even toys or physical objects. I am very patient and try to discover the best way a student can understand the material, as these methods differ from person to person. I hope to build an open discussion atmosphere with my students so they can ask questions and get feedback. I will explain the concepts, solve examples, let the student attempt questions on their own then give them guidance and feedback where applicable. Most importantly, I will show them the applications of what they are learning and how it can be useful for what they want to do in the future.
