Personal Description:

Having worked and studied in Canada, the US and Singapore I have a good understanding of learners from different backgrounds . I love meeting people and my teaching philosophy is to teach In an interactive and enjoyable way. I customize lessons for each student because every learner is different and because I relate easily to people it’s easy for me to recognize what works for each student.

Tutoring Experience:

I’ve worked as an ESL, Business English and IELTS tutor at Berlitz -Toronto and Berlitz - Singapore. I’ve also prepared students for the essay writing component of the Law entrance exam.

I have over 5 years of teaching experience and I’ve taught Japanese,Korean,Chinese and European students . I’ve also taught students from Google, Samsung, Proctor and Gamble and Facebook .

Tutoring Approach:

All my lessons are customized. I use an ESL book as a guide but I prefer to work with authentic materials . My classes include role plays and field trips. Lessons are very interactive .

For essay writing and IELTS my approach is very structured .
