Personal Description:

I love teaching and math in general. I am a math tutor who can help calculus students master the fundamental theorem of calculus or help middle school math students with geometry concepts like relative position and the properties of space. I have more than four years of experience as a peer tutor as an undergraduate in math. In addition, I worked as a TA as a graduate student.

Tutoring Experience:

As an undergraduate, I earned my bachelor's in operations research and information engineering. Then, I pursued my master's degree in the same field. I have tutored students of all ages and abilities in math topics such as AP Calculus AB, calculus, statistics, discrete math, and more.

Tutoring Approach:

My tutoring approach includes incorporating the Socratic method and providing numerous examples and theories. I approach complex problems from multiple perspectives because everyone learns differently. I also break difficult concepts down into smaller, easier to understand steps to make them more manageable.
