Personal Description:
With degrees in chemistry and math, I am well equipped to provide academic support to students as a math tutor. I enjoy teaching and tutoring in a one-on-one or small group setting where I can observe students carefully and tailor my teaching style in a manner that will benefit them the most.
Tutoring Experience:
I completed both undergraduate and postgraduate studies. I obtained a bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Math, as well as a master's degree in Theoretical Chemical Physics. I am currently working as a high school math teacher but also have experience teaching small undergraduate classes and have also provided one-on-one tutoring to undergraduate and high school students.
Tutoring Approach:
I think that learning requires students to master the basics first and then build from there. Sometimes what a student needs is another perspective to help them understand a concept. There are countless ways to explain any one concept, so I try to figure out the one that speaks to the student best.
