Personal Description:

I am a patient history tutor with a student-centered approach to tutoring. I am practiced in adapting my tutoring style to match each student's preferred and most effective learning styles. I have a dedication to working with each student's strengths to help them work to their potential. I use positive reinforcement to encourage my students.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in Geography-Urban Environment. I have more than six years of experience as a tutor working with students from grades 3 through 12. I have also worked with students in Special Education. I am available to tutor history subjects like World History to high school and college students.

Tutoring Approach:

I keep the tutoring environment calm and positive, which I believe fosters deeper learning. I cater each session to the learner's strengths and learning style. I believe in encouraging my students to trust their intuition as far as learning and understanding something on a conceptual level. I continually monitor my students' progress to make adjustments as necessary.
