Personal Description:

I am a second-year undergraduate student at the University of Waterloo, majoring in Math/Financial Analysis and Risk Management (FARM) with a minor in statistics. I completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program in 2018 with Higher Level subjects: Math (attaining 6), Economics (attaining 7), and English and Standard Level subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and French. I have a passion for mathematics and am eager to share my knowledge and expertise to others.

Tutoring Experience:

I previously worked at Kumon Canada as a Classroom Assistant from 2016 to 2018. In my role, I helped create assignment plans for the students and tutored students in mathematics, ranging in difficulty from basic arithmetic to advanced calculus. While, my experience may be limited I have a plethora of mathematical knowledge and have fundamental tutoring skills.

Tutoring Approach:

The approach I have to tutoring is simple, I find the topic where the student is having difficulty and review the previous topic with the student to strengthen their background knowledge in order to learn more advanced material. My tutoring pace varies on the student; however, I like to challenge and instill confidence in my students to help them reach their full potential.
